Bolivian Work Visa Requirements


If you want to prolong your stay beyond the allowable three months, you must apply for a Temporary Residence Visa. The following is required:

Once in the country, you must apply at the Ministry of Labour for approval of the Labour Contract, as well as at the Immigration department for the Temporary Residence visa.

Expect the Labour Contract to be approved within one week. It is valid for the duration of your work contract in Bolivia. The Temporary Residence visa will be approved in about 2-3 weeks.
